一、学校概况

三、申请条件

1.非中国籍公民,来自柬埔寨、老挝、马来西亚、缅甸、泰国、印度尼西亚、越南等东南亚地区和加纳、尼日利亚、利比里亚等西非地区的“一带一路”共建国家,身心健康。遵守中国法律法规,尊重中国风俗习惯。对原为中国公民后加入外国国籍者,执行教育部相关规定;

2.申请攻读硕士学位者,应当具有学士学位或同等学历,学习成绩优秀,年龄一般不超过35周岁;申请攻读博士学位者,应当具有硕士学位或同等学历,学习成绩优秀,年龄一般不超过40周岁。

四、资助内容

被正式录取者享有中国政府奖学金,包括学费、校内住宿、综合医疗保险和生活费,不含国际旅费。

五、申请时间和流程

1. 2025年5月15日之前,申请者登录河海大学在线申请系统:http://admission.hhu.edu.cn/

注册账户、填写信息,并上传相关申请材料,并缴纳申请费400元,申请费不予退还。上传材料不全或未成功缴纳申请费者,申请将不被受理;

2. 2025年5月19日之前,国际教育学院对申请材料进行初审;

3. 2025年5月22日之前,各学院组织专家对申请材料进行审核,全面考察申请者的学习成绩、科研能力、发展潜力等,推荐拟录取名单;

4.2025年5月26日之前,学校组织专家进行网上面试,确定拟推荐名单;

5.2025年5月28日之前,学校为拟推荐的学生出具预录取通知书;

6.2025年5月31日之前,拟推荐的学生登录中国政府奖学金网站,填写申请表,提交相关材料。网址:http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/, 类型:B,学校代码:10294。

7.国家留学基金管理委员会组织评审专家开展资质审核,确定录取人选;

8.学校根据国家留学基金管理委员会的评审结果,通知申请人录取情况,并制作正式录取通知书、《外国留学人员来华确认表》(JW201)等材料。

六、申请材料

1.护照首页。如现持有护照有效期不符合要求(有效期晚于2025年9月),请及时换发新护照;

2.经公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生,须提交本人就读学校出具的预计毕业证明或在学证明;

3.学习成绩单(自本科阶段起)。成绩单扫描件应包括本科、硕士(如有)、博士(如有)学习阶段,直至最近一学期的成绩。成绩单应由就读学校教务处、研究生院或有关学生管理部门开具并盖章。可提供中/英文成绩单,如为英语以外语种,需另提供英文翻译件并公证;

4.语言能力证明。非英语母语国家申请者需提供托福或雅思等成绩单,或其他体现个人英语水平的证明;

7.《外国人体格检查表》复印件(原件自行保存,此表格由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制,须英文填写)。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效,检查结果有效期为6个月。体检表下载网址https://ie.hhu.edu.cn/2021/0322/c14691a220524/page.htm

8.无犯罪记录证明。申请人须提交由所在地公安机关出具的有效期内的无犯罪记录证明,通常应为提交申请之日前6个月以内的证明文件。应届毕业生可提交在校表现良好证明。

9.个人简历。自本科起时间连续的学习经历,有在华学习经历者需提供全部学习经历;

10.所有与中国相关的签证、居留许可扫描件。若从未到过中国,可用护照页代替;

11.经济能力证明。以下文件中的一项:家庭存款证明、家庭房产证明、家长/监护人收入证明,建议5000美元及以上;

12.已发表的学术论文目录及摘要;

注意:

1.提交的材料须清晰、真实、有效。建议申请人使用专业设备扫描需提交的有关文件,因材料不清晰或无法识别造成的后果由申请人承担。

1. About Hohai University

Hohai University is a state key university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of China, and is on the State “211 Project”. It is a comprehensive university with research and study of water resources as its main focus, education of engineering subjects as its first priority, and coordinated development of a wide array of disciplines, ranking among China's top universities in its teaching indexes and overall strength. 3. Application Requirements

(1)Applicants must be a citizen of “the Belt and Road” countries from Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and other Southeast Asian regions, and Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia and other West African regions, and be in good health both mentally and physically.

(2)Applicants must be a bachelor's degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master's programs and be a master's degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs.

4. Scholarship

Admitted students are eligible for the Chinese Government Scholarship, which covers tuition, on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance, and living expenses, excluding international travel expenses.

5. Application Period and Procedure

(1) Before May 15, 2025, applicants should log in to the Hohai University online application system at http://admission.hhu.edu.cn/

to register an account, fill in the information, upload the relevant application materials, and pay the 400RMB application fee, which is not refunded regardless the applicant is admitted or not.

(2) Before May 19, 2025, International School will conduct an initial review.

(3) Before May 22, 2025,the respective Colleges/Schools will review the submitted materials, including a comprehensive evaluation of applicants' academic achievements, research capabilities, and development potential. This evaluation will determine the list of recommended candidates.

(4) Before May 26, 2025, International School will organize the experts to conduct an online interview and finalize the list of recommended candidates.

(5) Before May 28, 2025, the university will issue a pre-admission notice to the recommended candidates.

(6) Before May 31, 2025, the recommended candidates are required to complete the China Scholarship Council online application at http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/

(Type B, Agency Number: 10294).

(7) The China Scholarship Council will organize assessments to evaluate qualifications and make determinations accordingly.

(8) Based on the evaluation results from the China Scholarship Council, the University will notify applicants of their admission status and subsequently prepare formal Admission Notices, Confirmation Form for Study in China (JW201), and other essential materials.

6. Application Documents

(1) Copy of Passport Home Page. If the validity of the applicant’s current passport does not meet the requirement (meaning the passport expires before September 2025);

(2) Notarized highest diploma. Prospective diploma winners must submit official proof of student status by their current school. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations;

(3) Academic transcripts (from the undergraduate program onwards). Copies of academic records from first to last semester during the undergraduate, graduate (if any), and doctoral programs (if any) shall be provided. These transcripts shall be issued and sealed by the attending university’s academic affairs office, graduate school, or student management department. They can be in Chinese or English, but must be attached with notarized English translations if they are in foreign languages other than English;

(4) Language qualification certificates. Non-English native speakers shall provide English language proficiency certificates, like IELTS or TOFEL report;

(5) A study plan proposal. A study plan in English or in Chinese should include the academic background, study and work experiences, and focus on research plans during graduate studies. About 1500 words for master's applicant and 3000 words for PhD applicant, the proposal of a doctoral student shall be signed by the applicant’s Chinese supervisor. (6) Recommendation letters. Two letters of recommendation (written only in Chinese or English) from professors or associate professors shall be submitted with the references' signatures and personal contact information. These letters shall describe the applicant’s objectives of learning in China, comprehensive abilities, and evaluation of future growth, as well as the cooperation between the supervisors or the exchange

(7) A photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English (the original copy shall be kept by the applicant). The form is designed by the Chinese quarantine authority and can be obtained from the dispatching authority. The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. (8) Non-criminal record report. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority, usually issued within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application;

(9) Curriculum vitae. Consecutive study experiences since undergraduate. Full study experience is required for those who have studied in China;

(10) Scanned copies of the China related visa and residence permit, including all the study experiences (Upload your passport instead if there isn't any);

(11) Catalogue and abstract of published papers if there is any;
